The basic definition of a meme is ‘a funny image (or video) spread by internet users’. The idea is to condense a popular idea or opinion into a few words and do so in a humorous manner. With this form of entertainment comes the reality that not all memes are kind. In fact, some are downright rude, racist and in some circles completely tasteless. That being said, many of those rude memes are also hilarious to many. Those are the ones we will highlight here. Does it mean that you’re actually a horrible person if you laugh at these memes or does it just mean that you have an awesome sense of humor and just can’t help yourself? I guess we shall see.
